At the end of March we flew down to Walnut Creek to visit Bill and Mike and attempt to summit Mount Diablo. Brian trained all winter to be able to ride his bike to to the top of the 3,800 ft mountain. My Mom and Dad also came down and the day of the ride we were the pace car. Kevin, Mike and Brian started the ride and Brian accomplished his goal to the top. He is now looking into doing the race in October. Brians total time was around 1 and 1/2 hours, apparently Lance Armstrong does it in 40 minutes...so just a little more training and he should be close. We also accompanied Kevin and Mary to a dog show, so they could check out an English Sheep dog they are interested. It was quite an eventful weekend.
