Kellen and Parker

Sarah and I try to have playdates once a week with Kellen and Parker who are just ten days apart in age.  It's always a great time and wonderful to have a friend like Sarah as we go through this wonderful stage of life together. Parker sometimes isn't so sure about Kellen and his boy nosies.

This Memorial Day weekend was especially memorable as we all gathered on Whidbey.  We had incredible weather, Dad caught a fish we had never heard of (and it was delicious), Bill, Jamie and Brian made homemade fries, Brian and I made our first batch of Paella (to be perfected for our summer family party) I went for my first bike ride on my new bike and Kellen got lots of special time with Great Grandma Hazel, Bumpa and the rest of the family.  Uncle Bill and Mike came up from Walnut Creek and made it possible for Grandma to stay the whole weekend, and we even got to see Great Uncle Jim up from L.A.!  Not to mention our good friends from high school Brett and his wife Ellen (and baby Dexter), Niko and Tracy and Sean all came up for a fun night as well!

Maggie Loves Kellen!

Kellen's cousin Maggie is 2 and thinks that Kellen is her baby.  She comes over every Tuesday and shrieks "Baby!"  They both have a great time together!

Spring Suprise Visit from Nani and Daddy Jim!

Mom and Dad came over for an impromptu visit and we headed to the Lake. We had a great weekend together as usual!
