We were fortunate enough to make it across a winter pass crossing to help Great Grandma Hazel celebrate her 22nd birthday (born on leap day)! It was wonderful to see her, Mike, Bill and Bumpa. Kellen had lots of fun and got more experience playing the piano with Daddy Jim.

Schweitzer!

The weekend of Feb 10th, my parents came over and we all drove up to Schweizter for a mini-ski vacation. It was a blast! We stayed at a ski-in-ski-out condo and just had a wonderful time! Jamie even took a brief study break to join us and watched Kellen so we could all ski together for a few hours. It was Dad's first time on the mountain in a few seasons and he skiied beautifully. No skiing for Kellen yet, but he still had an excellent time.

East Beach!

One of our most favorite places to visit is Santa Barbara. Not only is it one of the most beautiful places in the world, but we get the joy of visiting one of the most wonderful people and being welcomed in her incredible home. Kellen got to experience many first's in Santa Barbara: First teeth, first avocado (didn't go too well), first time to the beach, first dip into the ocean, first time on a tire swing and picking oranges. We had the absolute best time, and as always could not have felt more welcomed and loved by our Southern California family.
