Jenny and Kevin got married on Whidbey Island on September 15th! It was a blast and reminded Brian and I of our outdoor celebration on Whidbey 4 years ago! It was also Kellen's first wedding and he loved it!

It's becoming an annual family reunion on Whidbey Island in late August. It's now one of our most look forward to events of the year. The Adams family from Santa Barbara and San Diego flew up to visit everyone for some beach fun (western Washington style), family dinners, lots of laughter (some akward moments :) and great conversations!

Our summer has been split between Loon Lake and Whidbey Island, here are a few of our Whidbey highlights with more to follow.

Whidbey Island Tri-athalon!

Brian and Jamie finished their third year of competing in the Whidbey Tri-athalon, and after a year of hard work and training after Kellen I was ready to get back and do the whole thing! J and Brian were team PPM in honor of Grammy, and we all competed thinking of her that day.  With our loyal fans of Kellen, Dad, Bumpa and Mom cheering us on we had a beautiful race day and a lot of fun! We plan to continue to do the race every year and encourage others to join us.  It is a spring tri-athaolon with a 1/2 mile swim, 19.5 mile bike and a 3.8 mile run. See you there next year!
